The Reclamation Collection is a nine-piece trilogy exploring the psychological and physical aftermath of emotional abuse, manipulation, identity loss, and survival. Through anatomical imagery, fragmented forms, and symbolic portraiture, the collection examines the process of reclaiming autonomy after prolonged emotional control. Each part reflects a different stage of destruction, recognition, and reconstruction.
Unraveling represents the violence of psychological manipulation — the erosion of thought, identity, and emotional stability under sustained control. The crushing hands symbolise internalised fear and self-destruction, while the exposed brain becomes a physical manifestation of emotional trauma made visible.
